Policy on children

Toy Fair is a strictly trade only event, in light of this the decision has been taken to prohibit children under the age of 11 entering the fair. The reason behind this decision is to protect prototypes that many exhibitors bring to the show as well as to maintain a business environment for all exhibitors and visitors.

Visitors are welcome to bring babies under two years of age to the fair. However pushchairs or prams are not permitted on the hall floor for health and safety reasons, therefore visitors will have to carry their child.

Children between the age of 2 and 11 years old will not be allowed entry. Toy Fair does provide a free of charge play centre with qualified staff. Places are limited so please only use this facility if other childcare arrangements cannot be made. The centre is open from 9am-1pm and 2-6pm with an hour for lunch.

Any child that registers for Toy Fair must show a form of identification, proving their age with a photograph. All security and registration desk staff will have been briefed to stop all children from entering the fair if identification cannot be produced.

This policy has been developed over a number of years to strike a balance for both visitors and exhibitors when doing business at Toy Fair. Please be aware that Toy Fair is a trade event and is restricted by health and safety regulations. Please adhere to this policy so that stricter regulations do not have to be introduced in the future.
