(London, UK) 18th September, 2019 – The British Toy & Hobby Association announced today that registration has opened for media and visitors to attend Toy Fair 2020. The 67th Toy Fair will be held at Olympia London from Tuesday 21st – Thursday 23rd January. Press Day is scheduled for Tuesday 21st, with the new Influencer Day on Wednesday 22nd.

Toy Fair is the largest dedicated toy, game and hobby trade exhibition in the UK. Covering a total of 22,000m² floor space, the show hosts more than 260 exhibiting companies that are set to launch thousands of new toy lines. Visitors will be amongst the first to get to grips with new products and have the opportunity to network with industry professionals, from world-renowned brands and retailers to licensors and ambitious start-ups.

For the first time ever, Toy Fair 2020 will also be holding an Influencer Day to support the growing number of video teams, YouTubers and bloggers attending the show. The Influencer Day will include new scheduled content for attendees, including exhibitor tours run by the BTHA. Influencers will also be issued with a separate badge, to make it easier for exhibitors to identify and assist them.

“Toy Fair is the perfect place to see the hottest new products and hidden gems for the coming year all under one roof,” said Rebecca Deeming, Interim Head of Toy Fair. “With more media than ever attending Toy Fair, we’re delighted to launch our brand-new Influencer Day to better support content creators and our exhibitors.”

Confirmed exhibitors for Toy Fair 2020 include LEGO, Bandai UK, Hasbro, Big Potato Games, Brainstorm Ltd, Funko, Keel Toys and many, many more.

The new influencer day will add even more buzz to the usual activity at the show including;

  • Toy Fair TV live filming in the halls and via live web streaming throughout the three show days;
  • The Pokémon Company International sponsoring the show’s entrance foyer for a fourth consecutive year
  • The launch of Toy Fair’s Hero Toys 2020

Visitors can register for free HERE from 18th September. To make reapplying easy, attendees from any of the past three Toy Fairs will receive a Smart Link to their existing profile, so need only check, update and submit their details to receive their 2020 show ticket. Visitors who choose not to pre-register or confirm their Smart Link will be required to prove they are a genuine trade visitor and pay a £15 entry fee on the door.

The press office and demo zone have moved from Upper Level stand 158 to Upper West, stand 320 and 312 to create a media hub area. This new location will be among major companies and allows Toy Fair to accommodate even more exhibitors on the Upper Level. Additionally, the Toy Fair child policy has been updated for 2020. Visitors are encouraged to read the updated policy on the Toy Fair website here.
