In 2018 Jo & Nic created NURSERY TIMES, My First Crinkly Newspaper. An award winning range of cloth books uniquely designed to look and feel like little newspapers. Voted the best Baby Book 0-2 years by Junior Design Awards for which we have won for the last five years with a Gold Award for 2025. With little or no competition out there, we are in the lead to becoming the Best Crinkly Newspaper brand! These cloth books are made up of six pages with bright, bold illustrations and text, created by us. Babies from 3 months can hold these book independently allowing them to engage with the content. The  newspapers are safe, lightweight and washable so the baby can keep the newspaper up to reading age 3-4 years. This making it a long lasting product that can be passed on to siblings and reused. The crinkle fill inside each cloth page provides a tactile and sensory effect. This grabs a child’s attention and encourages them to turn the pages. We use rhymes a lot in most of our headline titles as rhyming text can help children learn read by listening to rhythm and tone of your voice. Our newspapers are packaged in their own little card envelope making them the perfect go-to gifting product. They are light and easy to send in the post with just one large letter stamp. We have 100 titles in the range including, nursery rhymes, first words, alphabet, counting, shapes, colours and languages. We have collaborated with Norland College, London Zoo, Manchester Museum and Jersey Zoo to create bespoke titles too. The potential to add more titles is endless. Our local UK distributor Dynamic Lifestyle & Gifts supply the NURSERY TIMES to some of the best independent toy shops, baby boutiques, bookshops, and gift shops in the UK and overseas. Most of which rate our product to be their best seller.
