As it is a trade show, Toy Fair runs a strict children’s policy.
Please note, exhibitors and visitors are not permitted to bring children between the ages of 5 and 16 to the fair, unless they are working at the show.
- You have a legal responsibility to ensure that the child is properly licensed, and we have a legal responsibility to check and hold a copy of that license.
- Children under the age of 5 are allowed into the fair without a license, however if a child under 5 is there to work then they would also need the correct licenses.
- If you wish to bring a child on site, please check the relevant permissions and arrange for the child to have the correct license (as well as any chaperone license you might need), by contacting the child’s local authority. If the child is of school age you will also have to provide written confirmation from their school approving their absence from school that day.
- You will need to share that license with the Toy Fair press team before passes are issued to gain admittance to the fair. Please note that licenses can take 30 days to issue from your local council. As well as the licenses, you will need to fill out a Toy Fair Children registration form which you can download here. Each approved child will be given a sticker on entry to the show labelled “Approved child” which they will need to wear at all times.
Please make sure children are kept under close supervision at all time.
If a child between 5 and 16 attempts to enter the show without the correct permissions, they will be turned away by security at the front desk.
