Please provide a brief introduction to yourself and the company you work for

Chris Lohmeyer – Managing Director of DKB Toys & Distribution Limited.

Starting in late 2020, DKB is entering its 3rd year of business in the UK. I have been blown away by the reaction to our brands so far and can’t wait to show both new & carry forward lines at this year’s Toy Fair.

What is your favourite part about working in the toy industry?

It’s a fantastic, exciting industry, full of incredibly supportive and wonderful people.

Give us the inside scoop, what products are you launching at Toy Fair 2023?

We are bringing something very unique to Toy Fair! You’ll have to come find us to see what that is!

What trends do you predict for the Toy Fair industry in 2023?

Putty is going to be massive in 2023! There is so much that can be done with it and so much that is being done with it, I think we are just seeing the beginnings of something huge!

How many years have you exhibited at Toy Fair 2023? Any favourite memories?

This will be our second year, and I will never forget the reaction of our stand, and people seeing how big it was, what we had to offer, who we are, which gave people confidence that we are here to stay!

What is your favourite toy?

The Optimus Prime auto converting robot, because it is just so damn cool!

What top tip would you give to a fellow exhibitor or visitor attending their first Toy Fair?

Toy Fair can be very overwhelming, so if you can plan, but really, the best thing to do is just see everything and speak to everyone!
