DALER-ROWNEY
Inspiring Creativity Since 1783
Daler-Rowney has been inspiring creativity for over 240 years and is recognised as a leading manufacturer of high-quality art materials. Originally established in the UK as a pigment and perfume company supplying wigs, the business has evolved into an internationally respected fine art brand, with colour and pigment innovation remaining at its core. Today, Daler-Rowney offers a comprehensive range of products for artists of all experience levels, including paints, brushes, surfaces, accessories, luggage and easels.
The company’s headquarters, warehouse and manufacturing facilities are located on the edge of the green belt in Bracknell, Berkshire. Since relocating from London in 1967, this site has been the hub for research and development, production and warehousing, supporting Daler-Rowney’s continued growth across both UK and international markets.
In 2022, Scola joined the Daler-Rowney Group. Scola operates predominantly within the education and fine art markets through trade and retail channels and is proud to be one of the last remaining manufacturers in the arts and crafts industry in Britain. The Scola brand specialises in producing and supplying children’s art materials for the education sector and has become synonymous with products that are safe, high quality, good value and easy to use. Today, Scola products can be found in primary classrooms across the UK.
In addition, Daler-Rowney distributes high-quality children’s art products from the Giotto, Giotto be-bè and Lyra brands. These brands form part of FILA, the Italian multinational parent company, further strengthening Daler-Rowney’s offering in the children’s and education art materials market.
Since its founding in 1783, Daler-Rowney has remained committed to inspiring creativity. The company strives to be accessible, inclusive and innovative, delivering exceptional artistic experiences and helping to make art accessible to everyone.
