Cat Castle – From First Meeting to Launch in a Year!

I met Dave and Paul from Cheatwell Games at Toy Fair 2025. In under a year, we now have the prototype game CAT EARTH – a game of giant kitties knocking houses off a flat earth – which I designed at the start of this year and which Cheatwell will publish in 2026, taking their first orders at Toy Fair.

Without Toy Fair, and the incredible relationship I’ve built between Frog Hall Games (my company) and Cheatwell, I wouldn’t be here wearing a suit covered in CAT EARTH imagery and a giant cat head, launching a new game alongside great people who have also become friends over the past year.

It’s such a great experience to attend Toy Fair – to make new friends, share exciting products, and have fun. The toy and game world has a much higher proportion of lovely people in it than any other sector I’ve worked in.
