This year’s event will also bring the launch of the new Toy Fair app which will enable all attendees to start networking and connecting from early November onwards. Pre-scheduling meetings in advance is strongly recommended due to the busy nature of the event.
As well as facilitating connections and diary management, the app will provide visitors with a one stop shop for all event information including exhibitor lists, floor plans, exclusive show offers, sponsor information and event schedules. The interactive element of the floor plans will also assist visitors to navigate around the show and discover companies and products they may well have missed such as in the Gold Zone which will host an exciting roster of entrepreneurs and start-ups.
Andrew Addley, SMF Toytown commented:
“Attending the London Toy Fair is genuinely one of my favourite events of the year. It always feels like the real start of the new season, especially after the busy and often stressful run-up to Christmas. It’s a great reset and an important moment for us as a business. The event is invaluable—we get to meet all the key suppliers and see their new ranges for the year ahead. It’s also a great refresher for lines I may have overlooked during previews, and a chance to gather more information on new launches. As a buyer, I’m constantly on the lookout for the next big thing, and London helps bridge the gap when time is short.
There’s always a great buzz around the show, and it’s clear how vital these events are for the industry. I’m always impressed by the turnout and the effort everyone puts in to make it a success.”
Warren Du Preez, Daniel Stores commented:
“Toy Fair is most certainly the highlight of the buying calendar and kick starts our new year. London Toy Fair offers a great opportunity to connect with the majority of our supplier base after the crucial Q4 period and provides the opportunity to view a huge array of products over the three-day period.
Away from the suppliers, London Toy Fair also allows buyers from all channels to reconnect and take a short break to discuss last year’s trade and to discuss which toys/suppliers are catching everyone’s attention at the show.”
Ann-Marie Edwards, The Very Group commented:
“London Toy Fair is a much-anticipated week in our diary. It provides our whole team with the opportunity to meet many of our valued partners all under one roof, as well as generating so much excitement for the season ahead. I personally love the buzz when you walk through the doors and, of course, networking with all familiar (and new) faces across the industry.”
